Advanced Technical Credit (ATC) Part II Training Announced

Central Texas Tech Prep Consortium will sponsor ATC Part II training for seven courses on the new ATC crosswalk in June. Training for several additional courses will be offered in September. Due to the new CTE TEKS to be implemented for the 2010/2011 school year, all teachers wishing to be approved to teach ATC courses must complete training by the end of October.

June 10, 2010 – 1:00 PM at Temple College

Marketing, Sales and Services Cluster – Courses offered are:

Marketing Dynamics (2 credits)
Entrepreneurship (1 credit)

Business Management and Administration Cluster – Courses offered are:

Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance (1 credit)
Business Management (1 credit)

June 17, 2010 - 9:00 AM at Temple College

Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security Cluster – Courses offered are:

Law Enforcement I (1 credit)
Court Systems and Practices (1 credit)
Correctional Services (1 credit)

To register, scroll down and click on Register online, complete the form, and click on Sign me up! Please list courses desired in comment section. Details regarding training site will be sent with training confirmation.

Teachers should complete Part I ATC training online prior to attending Part II training. Also, teachers should submit transcripts to the ATC office as outlined on the ATC website located at www.atctexas.org.
