A Working Curriculum
Summer, 1998. This publication is the result of the Workshops sponsored by the Consortium during the Summer of 1997. The book is a collection of lesson plans and activities related to the topics of Curriculum for the 21st Century, English-to-Work, Career Awareness Activities, and Real World Portfolios. Chris Ferguson facilitated the workshops. Chris is currently working with the Southwest Education Development Laboratory in Austin, Texas.

Comparison of Workplace Skills Requirements with Student Performance Using WorkKeys
Summer, 1997. This is a study to compare skills demonstrated by high school students with workplace requirements of selected entry level positions. The study sample was small, but it demonstrates how WorkKeys (or a comparable job profiling and assessment tool) may be used to evaluate curriculum and give focus to curriculum development.

Lesson Plans
Summer, 2006. This publication is the result of the Workshop sponsored by the Consortium during the Summer of 2006. The book is a collection of lesson plans created by the workshop attendees. Theresa Spangler facilitated the workshops. Theresa is a classroom teacher who also presents at state and national conferences on how to infuse contextual learning into any classroom.

Lesson Plans for Integrating Workplace Skills into the Classroom
Spring, 1993. In 1993, The Central Texas Tech Prep Consortium sponsored a curriculum contest. For this contest, instructors were asked to submit lessons that integrated workplace skills into classroom activities. This book contains the winning lessons.
